Aerials That Elevate the Whole Production

Drone rarely works alone. The best aerials are part of a bigger shoot.

On most projects, our drone work flies alongside video and photography — one production day, captured from the ground and the air. From there, Content Creation folds the footage into a fuller library, Social Media Management cuts it into vertical content, and SEO Management makes sure the finished piece is found. See our work.

Drone & Aerial — Frequently Asked

Questions About Aerial Production

Yes. VNTG Point's drone operations are conducted by an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certified operator. The FAA Part 107 certification is the federal license required for any commercial drone work in the United States. This means VNTG Point can legally fly drones for paid client work — including in airspace and conditions that require additional waivers.

VNTG Point produces cinematic 4K drone videography, high-resolution aerial photography, FPV (first-person view) drone footage, and ground-to-air integrated shoots that combine drone work with traditional video production. Common project types include real estate marketing, event coverage, architectural and industrial showcases, brand films, and agricultural footage.

No, and this is part of why FAA Part 107 certification matters. Drone flights near airports, over crowds, at night, or in restricted airspace require additional FAA waivers and authorization. VNTG Point handles all FAA permitting and airspace authorization as part of our pre-production process, so clients don't need to navigate the regulatory side themselves.

Yes. VNTG Point produces aerial real estate photography and videography for residential listings, commercial properties, and architectural marketing across West Michigan. Aerial work for real estate typically includes elevated exterior shots, property boundary fly-overs, and contextual neighborhood views that ground-level photography can't capture.

FPV (First-Person View) drone footage captures cinematic, immersive video from the pilot's point of view — typically using a smaller, faster drone that can fly indoors, through tight spaces, and at high speed. FPV is ideal for warehouse walkthroughs, factory tours, action sports, real estate interior reveals, and creative establishing shots. It's a distinct skill set from standard drone work and adds a dynamic visual range most agencies can't offer.

Drone work is weather-dependent. Most VNTG Point drone shoots happen in clear-weather windows for optimal visibility and footage quality. We monitor conditions ahead of every shoot and can reschedule for weather when necessary. Winter and snow conditions are workable for the right project — and Michigan's seasons offer distinct visual environments worth capturing intentionally.

Yes. While VNTG Point is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, our FAA Part 107 license is valid nationwide. We travel for drone shoots across the Midwest and beyond when project scope supports the travel, with travel and logistics included in the project quote.

VNTG Point delivers finished drone content as polished, color-graded final files — ready for use on websites, social media, advertising, or broadcast. Files are delivered via Google Drive (default) and/or through Monday.com. Raw footage is also available on request. Typical delivery formats include 4K MP4 for web/streaming and ProRes for clients planning further editing.
